Reil Capital Donates 200,000 Masks to Small Businesses as Delta Variant Rages

With the new surge of the Covid-19 Delta Variant, businesses are struggling yet again to stay afloat. The uncertainty of whom the new strain affects most is forcing companies to go remote, and cut down on employees and service capacity.

Being a small business ourselves, we were facing the same issues. When vaccinations rolled out earlier this year, we were hopeful that the pandemic effects would soon become more manageable with workers returning happily and safely to their place of work. Today, however, we are all still facing the same challenge: overcoming the COVID-19 barrier.

With science, medical care and government funding programs catching up to implementing solutions, we quickly jumped into action with our own supportive efforts. We managed to partner with the New York Chamber of Commerce and were able to donate 200,000 masks to the Nassau Chamber of Councils and their incredible employees.

From there, masks were distributed to all of the local businesses in the community in an effort to protect those who bravely work outside of their homes.

This is a donation we are very proud of.

Businesses are forced to survive with limited funds and employees, and some are even considering shutting their doors for good, leaving more than 60% of business owners, including those in construction, trucking, and restaurant industries, concerned about their ability to recover, if at all.
